Watch 'Thirsty Land' documentary today at Forum Hall
The Kansas Center for Agricultural Resources and the Kansas Water Resources Institute at K-State will host a screening of the documentary film "Thirsty Land" at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Forum Hall in the K-State Student Union.
"Thirsty Land" is the story of extreme drought, agriculture, and the water crisis in the Western United States and how these challenges impact farmers, communities and the environment. A number of Kansas farmers, officials and businesses are featured in the film.
Award-winning film producer Conrad Weaver will attend the event and will follow the lecture with comments and take questions.
