Psychology faculty, student present and publish
Richard Harris, professor; Bernardo de la Garza, doctoral student; and colleagues from the University of Texas, presented a poster at the Southwestern Psychological Association meeting, April 12, in Oklahoma City. The poster was "Acquiring Foreign Language Vocabulary Through Linguistic Context."
Ronald Downey, professor; Andrew Wefald, assistant professor in the School of Leadership Studies; Michael Smith, former graduate student and assistant professor of psychology at Southern Illinois University; Maura Mills, former graduate student and assistant professor of psychology at Hofstra University; and a colleague from Texas A&M University were published in the latest issue of the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology. Their publication is titled "Stress and performance: Do service orientation and emotionla energy moderate the relationship?"
