Voter registration drive from 2-6 p.m. today in the K-State Student Union

Submitted by Jason Coleman

The Kansas State University Young Democrats, an official student organization, will conduct a voter registration drive from 2-6 p.m. Sept. 8 in the K-State Student Union. The voter registration table will be located on the first floor of the Union near the doors leading to Bosco Student Plaza.

Members of the organization will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about voter registration and to show you how to complete any of the following tasks:

  • Check to see if you are currently registered to vote in Kansas.
  • Register to vote in Kansas for the first time. Individuals who are registered to vote in Kansas are also eligible to vote in federal elections.
  • Update your Kansas voter registration with a new address.
  • Apply for an advance ballot by mail.
  • Learn about options for early voting in person.
  • Discover where you will need to vote if you wish to vote in person on election day, Nov. 8.
