Retirement reception for Dale Fjell Aug. 26
Join the Northeast Area Extension Office staff for a retirement celebration honoring Dale Fjell, extension director, from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Pottorf Hall at the Riley County Fairgrounds, 1710 Avery Ave., in Manhattan.
Fjell began his career as a full-time research assistant for the K-State agronomy department in December 1974. In July, 1982, he started working for K-State Research and Extension as the south central area agronomist in Hutchinson. Fjell then worked as the state Extension row crop specialist in April 1990. Fjell has served as the Northeast Area Extension director since June 2005.

We will present the book of letters to him at the reception.
If you would like to recognize Fjell with a monetary gift, he suggests making a donation to the Alpha Rho Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi endowment. Make checks payable to Epsilon Sigma Phi and send to the Northeast Area Extension Office.
