Reminder: Register for the Farm 2 Fork 5K on Saturday, April 16
You still have time to register for the annual Farm to Fork 5K Saturday, April 16. The race will kick off the K-State All-University Open House and honor this year's theme "Rooted in Purple" by highlighting agriculture in the state. The run is a fundraiser for the Kansas State University Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
The 5K is scheduled from 8-9:30 a.m and will begin and end at the Large Animal Reproduction Center, one of the university's many livestock units.
Runners can expect to see different animal units and signs about agriculture along the route. The race is designed to give runners a look into Kansas agriculture.
A registration fee of $25 includes a T-shirt and donuts at the finish line. If you or your company would like to sponsor the race or have questions about the Farm to Fork 5K, contact Mikhayla DeMott at mrdemott@k-state.edu.
