Hide it before you can spend it
Out of sight is out of mind. When it comes to money, out of sight means in the bank; in sight generally means in your wallet. Sign up for an automatic savings plan so that your money is automatically moved from your paycheck to a savings account. In a few simple steps, you may direct a portion of your K-State paycheck to a savings account.
- Access the HRIS/Employee Self-Service website at: http://www.as.ksu.edu/HRIS
- Login using your eID and password
- Click on "Employee Self Service," "Payroll and Compensation" and "Direct Deposit"
- Click on “Add an Account," then enter savings account information
