Tuesday Talk in the Gardens to discuss squash
Space is limited, so reserve your spot now for the Sept. 27 Tuesday Talk in the Gardens, "Eating Your Garden – Squash." Nancy Moore, Blueville Nursery, Manhattan, will discuss squash varieties grown in the home gardens of Kansas and the vegetable's health benefits. She also will offer delicious ways to prepare squash.
Reservations are due by Monday, Sept. 26, and can be made by email to judy_unruh@att.net; confirmation will be returned via email.
The talk, which is free and open to the public, will be from 12:15-12:45 p.m. in the Quinlan Visitor Center, 1500 Denison Ave. Tuesday Talks in the Gardens are sponsored by the Friends of the KSU Gardens.
