Kansas State University offers services and programs to all benefit eligible employees to assist with their holistic well-being. Human Capital Services' Benefits Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in the K-State Union Ballroom.

The fair will provide employees with a well-rounded example of the resources available to help them continue down a path of holistic wellness. There will be financial providers, health and wellness programs, benefits information specific to K-State employees and much more.

Also during the fair, presentations regarding 2016 state employee health insurance will start at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and KPERS retirement planning presentation will start at 12:30 p.m. All presentations will be in Forum Hall in the Union.

Mary Spinks, with the State Employee Health Plan, will present the 2016 changes for Plans A and C and answer any questions regarding open enrollment.

Alan Schuler, KPERS field representative, will present and answer questions for those employees who participate in the KPERS plan and are planning for retirement.

Open enrollment is upon us.

Oct. 1-31 is open enrollment for health, dental and vision insurances. Enrollment for flexible spending account, health savings account and HealthyKids is a yearly active enrollment as well.
