Title IX Training offered to graduate student employees

Submitted by Office of Institutional Equity, Human Capital Services

Sexual harassment and assault on campus is a serious issue for all members of the K-State community. This training is designed for graduate research assistants, graduate teaching assistants and graduate assistants. It will focus on defining the university's legal obligation to enforce Title IX regulations, review the complaint and investigation process, as well as provide information on prevention methods such as bystander intervention.

The Title IX Training, WTD168, sessions will be presented by the Office of Institutional Equity in the Big 12 Room at the K-State Student Union on the following dates:

  • Session 0011, noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 6
  • Session 0012, 1-2 p.m. Aug. 6
  • Session 0013, 10-11 a.m. Aug. 12
  • Session 0014, 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 12

To register for one of these opportunities, participants can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, participants should include their name, employee ID, the course title and session number.
