Chilled water expansion project reminder: Vattier Street closed for construction

Submitted by Jack Carlson

Monday, June 22, through Monday, July 6, a section of Vattier Street at the northwest entrance to A2 parking lot east of the Beach Museum of Art will be closed. The parking lot will remain open, but the northwest entrance will be blocked off for construction.

Entrance and exits to the A3 parking lot will be available from Mid-Campus Drive and Butterfly Lane.

Work continues on Claflin Road, 17th Street and Bosco Plaza as unseasonably wet weather has hampered the contractor's efforts to install pipe and restore the roads back to their original and intended conditions.

Several maps are available to view construction projects sequence and closures. The dates listed are estimated projections and may vary slightly as construction progresses and as weather cooperates. Accessibility to buildings also is indicated on the maps.

K-State's Division of Facilities and the construction team appreciate everyone's cooperation and navigation of lengthy walks around campus.
