Center for Sustainable Energy extends abstract submission deadline for K-State Energy Symposium

Submitted by Keith Rutlin

The Center for Sustainable Energy has extended the deadline for abstract submissions to April 6 for the annual Energy Symposium on April 8-9 in the K-State Student Union.

Abstract submissions are open to all K-State graduate and undergraduate students from all departments working on research related to energy. Students will be presenting a research poster if their abstract is approved.

K-State faculty members and staff will serve as judges and will select the top poster presenters to receive cash awards sponsored by Phillips 66. First place will receive $750, second place $500, third place $350, and three People's Choice awards will receive $300 each.

The Energy Symposium is open to the public and free registration is required. Visit the Center for Sustainable Energy website to register and for abstract submission instructions.
