Huck Boyd Institute director to address national conference
"Developing an Asset-Based Economy" will be addressed by Ron Wilson, director of K-State's Huck Boyd National Institute for Rural Development, at the Balancing Nature and Commerce in Rural Communities and Landscapes event conducted by the Conservation Fund of Arlington, Virginia.
The training is Nov. 4-6 in Manhattan. This is the first time that such training has been in Kansas. Participants will be coming from Tennessee, Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Texas and Washington, D.C.
The training is conducted by the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, part of the Conservation Leadership Network.
