Reminder of Hollywood designer lecture today

Former Hollywood production designer and director Jeffrey Townsend who will present "The Five Things I Learned in Hollywood" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Town Hall in the Leadership Studies Building.

This event is open to all Kansas State University students, staff, and faculty, and does not require a ticket. The lecture is sponsored by the Kansas State University chapter of Society of Professional Journalists.

Townsend designed for "Sleepless in Seattle" and "Fabulous Baker Boys" among many other films. He also composed music cues for "The Simpsons" and won an Emmy for his writing contribution on the first season of the "Rugrats."
