Color Run road closures Saturday, Sept. 13

Submitted by Don Stubbings

The Color Run, a 5K paint race, will cause significant road closures from 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 13, impacting the K-State and Manhattan community. View the course map. The following road closures are to be expected:

6:30 to noon

  • College Avenue, north of Kimball Avenue to Marlatt Avenue
  • Marlatt Avenue, east of Browning to Tuttle Creek Boulevard
  • Denison Avenue, north of Kimball Avenue to Marlatt Avenue

7:15 to noon

  • Kimball Avenue, from Denison Avenue to College Avenue

Those who are attending the Color Run should park in the west parking lot of Bill Snyder Family Stadium and enter through gate No. 1 on College Avenue. Limited parking will be available in the north lots off of Denison Avenue and Kimball Avenue.

Additionally, the C.Clyde Run will be on main campus and affect the normal flow of traffic as runners complete this run. Long term road closures are not to be expected on main campus. However, please use caution as there will be runners throughout campus.
