Submitted by Shawn Hutchinson

John Harrington Jr., professor of geography at Kansas State University, will give a public lecture about ecosystem goods and services at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the K-State Student Union Little Theater.

Harrington will discuss the importance to society that ecological goods and services provide for health, social, cultural and economic needs. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend.

The presentation is sponsored by the natural resources and environmental science secondary major and the office of sustainability.
