  • Represents the interests and concerns of the student body to K-State Athletics
  • Will keep up to date on current issues regarding K-State Athletics and report to the Student Body President and Vice President
  • Works to maintain positive public relations between athletics, students, and the national perception of K-State Athletics, in order to maintain the level of excellence expected in representation of Kansas State University and K-State Athletics

  • Represents the interests and concerns of the Kansas State University Student Governing Association to external stakeholders and entities including local governments, non-profits, businesses, educational institutions, and other stakeholders
  • Serves as a member of the MHK-KSU Town-Gown Committee
  • Collaborates with the City of Manhattan, KS on a variety of projects
  • Attends external meetings as needed
  • Coordinates “Get Out the Vote” efforts

  • Serve as a liaison between Multicultural Student Organizations, K-State SGA, and university Administration.
  • Serves as an ex-officio member of the K-State SGA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, Council for Alumni Belonging, and the President’s Committee on Religious and Non-Religious Diversity. Additionally serve as the Co-Chair for the Intercultural Leadership Council.

  • Act as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and potential employers, facilitating
    connections and opportunities

  • Chairs the Green Action Fund for allocating funding to sustainability initiatives on campus

  • Represents the interest and concerns of students on matters pertaining to health and wellness, and will work with campus officials, local businesses and community partners to accomplish a safer campus and community environment

K-State Salina Student Body President

  • Serves as the chief executive officer of the K-State Salina SGA, organizing and maintaining representation of the student body on the Polytechnic campus
  • Duties include holding and appointing student representation on committees and campus functions, as well as organizing, maintaining, and leading the K-State Salina SGA
  • Conducts and oversees regular contact of the K-State Salina SGA and the K-State Manhattan SGA, giving and receiving reports, as well as organizing collaborations
