The Student Body President serves

as the chief executive of KSU

SGA.  The primary duty of the Student

Body President is to represent and 

protect the rights and interests of the

student body.  The Student Body

President is duly elected by the K-State

student body and serves a one-year term.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the student body and voice student needs and wishes to the university administration, faculty, staff, and the K-State family, Serve as a member of the President's Advisory Council, Serve as a member of Faculty Senate and the Faculty Senate Committee on University Planning, Serve as a member of the Student Advisory Committee to the Kansas Board of Regents, Serve as an ex-officio member of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, Appoint students to serve on 20+ University Committees, Serve a one-year term on the Alumni Association Board of Directors

The Student Body Vice President works to

advance the agenda of the Student

Body President and serves as the official

representative of the student body in the

absence of the Student Body President.

The vice president is duly elected

alongside the president and also serves

a one-year term.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the student body and voice student needs and wishes to the university administration, faculty, staff, and the K-State family, and serve on the Academic Affairs Committee for Faculty Senate

Student Body President's Cabinet

The Student Body President’s Cabinet works to carry out the initiatives set forth by the Student Body President and Vice President. Cabinet members are appointed by the president and approved by Student Senate.
