Academic Advising
Students meet each semester with their academic advisor to develop a long-range plan for completing required coursework. The student is also assigned to a faculty mentor with whom they may discuss career and other professional issues.
Academic advisors review coursework plans each semester to ensure advisees are making satisfactory progress toward the degree and that they are meeting the standards required for graduation with a social work major.
The social work program has two academic advisors:
- Collin Sharpe (crsharpe@ksu.edu) - Manhattan campus
- Sarah Buchanan (buchs@ksu.edu) - online students
