After obtaining his B.A. in anthropology at the University of Alabama, Michael W. Krause gained further archaeological knowledge and skills by working in CRM, initially as a field and laboratory technician, and eventually as field diretor, throughout the Southeastern USA. He then continued his studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he received funding as a member of the Community Assistance Program and the State's Archaeology Office of Oklahoma. In 2022, Michael obtained his M.A. in Anthropology.
