Field Practicum

The addiction counseling practicum is the capstone of one's education, in which students are placed full-time at an addiction counseling agency for hands-on experiential learning. The practicum allows students to utilize skills learned in class and apply them to real world experiences. Students complete 430 hours in the course of one semester as part of their practicum experience.
