Radiation and Laser Safety
The Radiation Safety Office provides oversight for the use of radioisotopes, radioactive materials, radiation generating equipment and lasers for all university operations. Kansas State University operates under a Type A License of Broad Scope from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for the use of radioactive materials.
