Obtusely hilarious cartoons

Some of our research involves work on how to help people understand statistics, and in the world of statistics there are two general, competing views: Bayesians and Frequentists. Frequentists generally emphasized, well, frequencies: things either happen or they don't, statistics is about collecting more frequenices of events. Bayesians emphasize degrees of confidence/belief (not frequencies!) and continuous updating of those beliefs with new information. Got it? Here is a way to check: the cartoons below are funny if you understand this arcane statistical theory fight. (Or just move on to something more entertaining)
