LEAD: Legal Education Accelerated Degree
The LEAD program, designed for incoming freshmen, allows you to earn your undergraduate and law degrees in less time without sacrificing educational quality.
Program Overview
You will begin by working on a bachelor's degree at Kansas State University in one of these areas:

After three years, you will transfer to the University of Kansas School of Law, where you will complete your K-State bachelor's degree and your KU law degree — in six total years.

Application and Admission Requirements
- High school students must be admitted to K-State for the summer or fall term.
- Current K-State students must be within their first year of attendance.
- Have a minimum high school 3.5 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Prior to admission to KU Law, students must meet the bar-required character and fitness requirements and the required LSAT and GPA scores, which are currently a 160 LSAT and a cumulative 3.5 college GPA.
- Submit a program application by March 1st of your first year at K-State.
