Through career advising, inviting field experts to speak about their experiences, and connecting students to valuable internships - we show our majors the many paths a degree earned from our department can take them.

Undergraduate

An undergraduate degree in political science prepares students for careers in both the public and private sector, as well as a number of advanced graduate degrees including in law, foreign service/security, public administration, and doctoral studies, among others.

Though even before completing their degree, students have the opportunity at a first-hand experience of what it's like to have a career in the political science field through internships.
