College Faculty Meeting

The college is holding faculty meetings on the first Thursday of every month through May at 106 Kedzie Hall. All faculty and staff members are welcome. Only faculty who are eligible to vote in Faculty Senate elections may vote. Our remaining two meeting dates are April 2 and May 7.

Chapman Center Research Showcase

Interdisciplinary research on rural Kansas will be showcased at the Chapman Center for Rural Studies Research Showcase, featuring three 15-minute lightning presentations: “Hungry Heartland” food systems project, Dr. Alisa Garni’s “Crafting Dignity” study on the Kansas dairy industry, and the multidisciplinary “Logan Life Project.” Afterward, the 2026 Interdisciplinary Research Grant recipient will be announced. Refreshments will be served.

Holiday Inn at the Campus

The Manhattan branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) invites you to its 11th Annual International Women’s Day celebration featuring a social, optional dinner and panel discussion with five award-winning K-State graduate students, four of which are in our college. The association celebrates 115 years of recognizing the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. More information about the event and panelists is on the website. RSVP by March 2 for optional dinner.

K-State’s annual carnival attracts thousands of attendees and features academic exhibits, entertainment, food and fun activities! The College of Arts and Sciences will host an academic expo in the Union Courtyard, and our departments will host additional activities around campus. Details will be added to the Open House events webpage.

  • March 23 – Summer and Fall 2026 Early Enrollment Begins
  • April 3 – Last Day to Withdraw from a regular session course – ‘W’ grade(s) reflected on official transcript
