Health and Well-being Week offers something for every Wildcat to recharge and thrive

Health and Well-being Week 2026

As the stress of the semester nears fever pitch, student, faculty and staff wellness takes center stage April 20-25 during Health and Well-being Week. Participation is encouraged as schedules, needs and interests allow.

“This week is for everyone to take a little time to care for themselves,” said First Lady Sally Linton, co-chair of the initiative. “Taking time to care for ourselves and making connections creates a stronger, healthier community.”

In-person activities are planned at the Manhattan and Salina campuses in addition to virtual activities. Activities are free, and registration is required for the virtual sessions.

Opportunities to learn and connect include:

  • Daily: Noontime yoga; blood pressure checks at Lafene Health Center
  • Tuesday: Wildcat Walk for Well-being in Manhattan; Walk with Myles in Salina
  • Wednesday: Deskercise! virtual session; wellness coaching
  • Thursday: Preparing for financial emergencies virtual session; Renaissance Fair
  • Friday: Loneliness and social isolation in today’s world, virtual session

The full lineup of activities is available on the Health and Well-being Week website.
