Join the K-State Symphony Orchestra as they open their season with a celebration of music that travels at high velocities. On Thursday, October 15 the KSUSO will feature Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 in E minor, "From the New World", book-ended with works by Jessie Montgomery and Alberto Ginastera. The evening begins with a ticketed Backstage Pass pre-concert talk and reception at 6:00 PM followed by a free concert at 7:30 PM in McCain Auditorium.

Join the K-State Symphony Orchestra for this incredible synthesis of music and film. For only two nights this fall the KSUSO will perform the famous John Williams film score along with a full screening of the movie Home Alone. Tickets will go on sale soon, so don't miss this incredible performance of live movie music. These performances will be held Thursday and Friday, November 19-20 at 7:30 PM in the McCain Auditorium.

Paging all KSUSO alumni....join the KSUSO for a special side-by-side performance opening this unique and exciting concert. Former members of the KSUSO are invited to join the symphony for a special performance of La Forza del Destino by Giuseppe Verdi. Featuring Dr. Madeline Jansen, violin and Dr. Syneva Colle, cello, this concert will also highlight the amazing Double Concerto in A minor for Violin and Cello by Johannes Brahms. The KSUSO will also welcome K-State student concerto soloists to the stage. Joy Rekindled will be held at 3:00 PM in the McCain Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

Friday, April 30, 7:30 p.m. - McCain Auditorium

In the ensemble's final concert of the season, the KSUSO will perform the powerful and inspiring Symphony No. 9 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Join the KSUSO, K-State faculty soloists, and singers from multiple K-State and Manhattan area choirs for this special performance on Friday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the McCain Auditorium. Prior to the concert, the orchestra will host its final Backstage Pass pre-concert talk at 6:00 PM. Stay tuned for more information about tickets for this magical conclusion to a joyful season.
