Symphony Orchestra

The Kansas State University Orchestra program is a vibrant community of musicians representing many major fields of study including music performance, music education, music composition, engineering, architecture, computer programming, business, foreign language, and many more. All musicians are welcome!

Under the direction of Dr. Rachel Dirks, the orchestras perform exciting and engaging concerts in McCain Auditorium, throughout the Manhattan community, and around the world featuring a wide array of literature from contemporary works to classical favorites. "Home Alone" in Concert - Tickets Now on Sale!

Thursday & Friday, Nov. 19 & 20, 7:30 p.m. - McCain Auditorium

Join the K-State Symphony Orchestra for an incredible synthesis of music and film. For only two nights this fall, the KSUSO will perform the famous John Williams film score along with a full screening of the movie Home Alone. Tickets are now on sale, so don't miss this incredible performance of live movie music in action! These performances will be held Thursday and Friday, November 19-20 at 7:30 PM in the McCain Auditorium.

Ticket purchases may be made in person at the McCain Auditorium Box Office (1501 Goldstein Circle), by phone (785-532-6428), or using the McCain website. Tickets are $27.50 for adults and $17.50 for youth, with applicable fees and taxes. A limited number of free tickets for K-State students are available for in-person pick-up at the McCain Box Office.
