Visual & Performing Arts Academy

Rising 9-12 graders will experience six days of creativity, collaboration, and performance at the Visual and Performing Arts Academy! Students will dive into primary and secondary tracks, enjoy dynamic all-camper activities, make new friends, and showcase their talents in a professional final performance—all on the beautiful Kansas State University campus in Manhattan, KS.

  • Academy dates: July 5-11, 2026
  • Registration deadline: May 1, 2026
  • Early bird registration deadline: April 3, 2026
• Costs
  • All campers pay a $300 base cost, which covers housing, meals, staffing, and core camp activities.
  • Some program tracks require additional fees (not exceeding $100) to support the materials and resources needed for those areas
    • Examples: music tracks may include sheet music or instrument-related expenses, art tracks may require specific supplies, etc.
  • Your exact total, including any track-specific costs, will be provided to you along with your acceptance.
• Application
  • Eligibility: Students must be entering the 9th-12th grade in Fall 2026.
  • Things to have ready before you start the application:
    • Tracks picked out
    • Name of Roommate, if requesting.

• Cancellation Policy

  Students who are invited to participate in the Academy will be asked to pay the $300 fee and any track-specific fees by May 1.

  The last day for a refund is June 1.
