Darin has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. He is a Yoga Alliance ERYT 500-hour teacher, which basically means that he’s completed a lot of trainings and taught a lot of classes.

Darin has been trained in Ashtanga and Jivamukti inspired Vinyasa but found his place with Forrest Yoga. He completed his Forrest Yoga Foundation training in 2014 and his Advanced Forrest Yoga training in 2015. He began assisting Ana Forrest in 2016 and has had the opportunity to teach yoga around the world. He became a Forrest Yoga Guardian (lineage holder) in 2018.

Darin’s approach to yoga is that it should be challenging and fun. The challenge comes from pushing our comfort edges because growth can and should happen. It should be fun because why continue to do something if you’re not having a good time? Yoga is what it needs to be for each of us, and for many of us, yoga should bring the ability to connect to self. You can expect Darin’s classes to introduce you to muscles you did not know you had; arm balances; gravity surfs; breath; and an overall sense of who you are. And you hopefully connect to the fun that is the yoga mat.

Darin ventured to Manhattan in 2022 for the Couples and Family Therapy graduate program at K-State. He completed his degree in 2024 and is currently seeing clients in-person and via telehealth as an LMFT across the state of Kansas with a local private practice.
