ARAB101- Arabic I Arabic 101- A ( 14460)   Arab 101-ZA ( 15838) (Distance) Mo We 5:50- 7:35  The aim of the first half of this course is to learn the shapes and sounds of the Arabic letters and vowels and develop the ability to write and read words and numbers. The second half of the course focuses on introducing basics in Arabic grammar essential to compose short, common phrases for communication. Sets of vocabulary that includes pronouns, verbs, nouns, adjectives, prepositions, and question words will be covered that enable construction of short, meaningful phrases and sentences in oral and written communications.  ​Arab 300-A ( 14461)  Arab300-ZA ( 15839) (Distance)    Tu Th 5:30 - 7:30 The aim of this course is to further advance the reading and listening comprehension and expand the capacity to communicate through speaking and writing in Arabic by acquisition of much more Arabic vocabulary and their other related derived words and utilizing them in grammatically correct contexts.
