On Saturday, Dec. 3, Wildcat 91.9 (KSDB-FM), part of Wildcat Electronic Media, covered the 2022 Big 12 Championship Game between Kansas State and TCU. While the team brought a victory home for Manhattan, the students of Wildcat Electronic Media brought fans an unforgettable multimedia broadcast experience.

Wildcat 91.9 sent four students to Arlington, Texas, while three staff members based in Manhattan hosted the pregame, halftime and postgame coverage. In total, nine Wildcat Electronic Media students worked with faculty to create an unforgettable broadcast production in the booth, on the sidelines, in the stands and in the studio.

Senior Anthony Gorges and graduate student Kolby Van Camp ran play-by-play (PxP) and color. New elements were introduced to Wildcat 91.9’s regular broadcast with live sideline reporter freshman Emma Wiley and senior videographer Dawson Wagner. In addition to the live broadcast, the four-person team from Wildcat 91.9 and KKSU-TV captured a range of content and video/digital footage for upcoming stories for Wildcat 91.9, Wildcat919.com, Channel 8 and their related social media platforms.
