RISE UP - ACT UP! Queer Voices Art Exhibition

RISE UP, ACT UP! Queer Voices Art Exhibit

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) students, community members, and professionals are encouraged to submit artworks for the “Centering Queer Voices” exhibition at the 2023 LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference on April 21, 2023.

We are seeking submissions from artists of all skill levels that convey authentic and diverse viewpoints from the LGBTQ+ experience. Artists are encouraged to express what being an LGBTQ+ person means to them. Allies are encouraged to submit work that respects the theme of the conference.

In the spirit of inclusion, this call is open to individuals of all ages. While we welcome all subject matter, it is important that artists understand that the show is open to all ages, sexualities, and genders.

It is also important that adults and guardians understand the content of the final exhibit may include work that could be perceived as mature in nature. We will strive to find the right balance between freedom of expression and age-appropriate inclusivity.
