University Level Research Mentorship

Celebrating Partnership

Manhattan High School has a long-standing partnership with Kansas State University through the University Level Research Mentorship course, offered at MHS. This experience is open to primarily high school seniors from any field of study and aims to pair them with K-State faculty who are leading research. This early exposure sets students up for a bright future in research, potentially at K-State.

View the course syllabus here.

Students who wish to engage with this experience must:

  • Have completed a statistics class
  • Come with a recommendation from another teacher
  • Show demonstrated ability to perform well with rigorous coursework
