Jillian Martin, Ph.D., is a 2021-2023 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Ghana, West Africa University of Cape Coast Institute for Educational Planning and Administration. At the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (IEPA) at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, Dr. Martin is teaching, working with graduate students, and advancing research on community-engaged practices in assessment and evaluation in higher education.

Dr. Martin has worked in US higher education for over 10 years as a scholar-practitioner in student activities, diversity initiatives, residence life, assessment and evaluation, and civic and community engagement. She is an inquiry specialist and is passionate about using assessment, evaluation and research to inform scholar-practice. In her role as affiliate faculty, Dr. Martin is working on the Leading Change Institutes 2023-24 program on Advancing Perspectives of Leadership Movements and Strengthening Democratic Practices in Sub-Saharan Africa.
