Lafene Health Center

Lafene Health Promotion offers certification through the American Heart Association in 2 easy steps!

Courses are available to K-State students, faculty/staff, and the public. 


PART 1 - Complete one of the two online lessons through American Heart Association.

PART 2 - Click HERE to schedule your skills training/testing

*Skills testing sessions will be at Lafene Health Center. Please enter through the far NW doors (past the garage). Non W-permit holders should park in the North lot, marked "Lafene Clients" (white lines) to avoid a parking ticket. 

Checklist for Part 2:

  • Please either email your online certificate to healthy@ksu.edu before your scheduled skills training/testing OR print it out and bring it with you!
  • The cost for the skills training/testing is $45.00 (CPR) and $55.00 (BLS).  Please make checks payable to 'Lafene Health Center' or bring exact cash.
