Mark your calendars and join the College of Agriculture's student leadership and K-State Research and Extension Diversity Programs Office for the 14th Biannual "Growing our Mindset" Diversity Forum from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the K-State Student Union's Wildcat Chamber. A Zoom option is also available, but registration is required.

John Niemann, K-State alumnus, chair of the College of Agriculture Dean's Advisory Board and owner/operator of JNiemann Enterprises, will discuss the importance and purpose of diversity in the workplace.

The student groups who will lead the event are the K-State Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, Chapter; the College of Agriculture Ambassadors; and the Ag Student Council in partnership with the College of Agriculture/KSRE Diversity Programs Office and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies.

Instructors, please note that we will be taking attendance of students who participate. If you require this information, contact Summer Santillana, diversity programs coordinator, at smades@k-state.edu.

Thank you for your continued support of our programs and efforts. Continue to look for more diversity events as we continue to advertise.  For additional information, please contact Zelia Wiley at zwiley@k-state.edu or 785-532-5793.
