Submitted by Debra J. Bolton

Please join SAFE Zone to learn some basics in the histories of First American/Natives/Indigenous peoples of these lands scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, via Zoom.

Please mark your calendars and register for this special SAFE Zone class to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day and Native heritage.

Debra Bolton will lead you through historical events pertaining to Indigenous peoples, colonial entanglements and the hard-won road to self-determination and sovereignty.

Come prepared for a lively discussion. Please register online

SAFE Zone staff will send the Zoom link by the evening of Oct. 9.

Vision: As a program of K-State, SAFE Zone envisions academic and social environments where students, faculty and staff possess a sense of belonging and experience conditions in which they thrive.
