S.A.F.E. Zone presents Introductory Class on Feb. 2

Submitted by Debra J. Bolton

Intercultural Learning and Academic Success with the LGBT Resource Center will present a S.A.F.E. Zone Introductory Class from 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2. Please spread the word to others about this important class.

The class Zoom link will be sent to participants on the afternoon of Feb. 1 or the morning of Feb. 2.

Please register for the S.A.F.E. Zone Introductory Class. If you cannot devote 90 minutes of your time to this class, please participate at another time.

Vision: As a program of K-State, S.A.F.E. Zone envisions academic and social environments where students, faculty and staff possess senses of belonging and experience conditions in which they thrive.

S.A.F.E. Zone acknowledges the intersectionality of human diversity by educating and fostering respect for multifaceted personal identities — e.g., sexuality, gender identity, class, religion, ability status, national origin, cultures, creed and other preferences. The S.A.F.E. Zone teams mobilize campuswide and community resources to assure physical, emotional and mental safety measures and practices.
