The Indian Students Association, an independent student organization, will host and welcomes all to the annual cultural event, "Sanskriti: A celebration of Indian culture." The event is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 26 in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union.

The event showcases Indian art and culture by bringing some of the diverse art forms to the doorsteps of our K-State community. Organizers plan to include different classical and folk performances, including the Hindustani Sitar concert, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, Parai and Kummiyattam, which represent the different states of India. Apart from the traditional performances, Sanskriti will also feature contemporary Bollywood dance performances, which are an integral part of everyday life in India. The Indian Student Association invites and encourages all international students to perform, and thus serves as a unique platform to showcase their talent, culture and tradition.
