Ukrainian-American pianist scheduled to perform at All Faiths Chapel

Ukrainian-American pianist Roman Rudnytsky will perform a solo piano recital 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, in All Faiths Chapel. Admission is free.

Rudnytsky, a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, is the winner of the second prize at the renowned Leventritt Competition in 1965. 

Professor emeritus at Youngstown State University in Ohio, Rudnytsky has performed in more than 100 countries worldwide. His 22nd tour of Australia is scheduled for November 2021.

The program of his K-State recital consists of music by Manuel Herrarte, Clara Schumann, Benjamin Britten, Gustav Holst and Edvard Grieg.
