2021 Benefits Fair announcements and registrations

Submitted by HCS-Benefits

While a traditional Benefits Fair will not be available this year, HCS benefits will offer virtual access to most state and K-State benefit providers.

Interactive sessions, exclusive to K-State, will span the first two weeks of October, with different vendor opportunities offered each day. Most have agreed to host morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate as many schedules as possible and have committed to Q&A availability as part of these sessions.

For those nearing age 65, or anyone wanting additional information, Medicare Basics will be presented by Debra Wood of K-State Research and Extension. Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna will also offer presentations on Retiree Supplemental plans through SEHP — all great opportunities to learn more about these valuable and often mystifying programs.

An itinerary with registration links is below, and we encourage all benefits-eligible employees to participate. Any changes to the schedule will be communicated to registrants and through K-State Today. Please be on the lookout for additional communications throughout the open enrollment season, Oct. 1-31, and contact your HCS-Benefits team at benefits@k-state.edu should we be of assistance or support.
