'Unpacking the Election' is focus of Community Action Talk on Feb. 11

Submitted by Stefan Yates

The next Community Action Talk, "Unpacking the Election," will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, via YouTube Live.

Moderated by Sue Peterson, chief government relations officer, the discussion will cover topics and new developments related to expected changes that could happen with the new administration in place and when we might expect to see these changes, the unprecedented diversity in the appointments of new cabinet and administration, and projected changes to COVID-19 policy. Panelists include Scott Schwab, Kansas secretary of state; Tim Shaffer, K-State Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy; and Brianne Heidbreder and Nate Birkhead, both associate professors of political science at K-State.

Please visit the Community Action Talks webpage to access the stream, which will be updated before the session.

Community members, students, faculty, staff and alumni will be able to pose relevant questions to the panel via the email address posted in the YouTube Live description.
