Thank you from Link e-scooters

Submitted by Adrienne Tucker

Link e-scooters hit a milestone Wednesday, Aug. 19, by hitting 5,000 rides, just five days after launch.

"We love serving the Wildcat community," said LINK operations manager Evan Lochmiller. "This is our fastest launch ever! Thank you K-State for safe back-to-school scooting."

As a reminder, park in designated locations and follow these tips for a safe e-scooter ride:

  • Wear a helmet.
  • One rider per e-scooter.
  • Ride in a bike lane when available.
  • No riding on sidewalks in Aggieville and Downtown.
  • Always be aware of pedestrians and cars.
  • Park mindfully.
  • Have fun!
