Difficult Dialogues on Nov. 12 will focus on responding to situations through role-play

Submitted by Bryan Samuel

In collaboration with the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies and the Teaching and Learning Center, the next Difficult Dialogues will take place 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the K-State Student Union Bluemont Room.

Tara Coleman, K-State Libraries, and Brent Weaver, K-State First, will present "Situation Critical: Responding to Difficult Situations Through Role-play." Registration is required and lunch will be provided. Learn more and register on the Difficult Dialogues webpage.

Difficult Dialogues was created to help faculty make progress on their knowledge and skill in facilitating conversations in the classroom when difficult or challenging topics arise. The lunch and learn series will be piloted for the 2019-2020 year and cover topics such as mental health, race and ethnicity, gender sexual orientation and identity, and political divide/current events.
