Kansas Board of Regents meeting university updates

The Kansas Board of Regents meeting on May 15 included several items related to Kansas State University.  

Introduction and reports

President Richard Myers discussed THE HOT ZONE and its May 7 screening and panel discussion hosted at the university; three students who received Fulbright awards; a new graduate certificate that fulfills animal health industry’s demands for applied skills; and K-State's role in first-generation student success.

Consent agenda  

The university received approval for a Master of Science in physician assistant studies.

Discussion agenda 

The Regents received the first read of tuition proposals for fiscal year 2020. View a PDF of the tuition and fee proposals

The Regents approved Johnson County Education Research Triangle, or JCERT, fiscal year 2020 budgets.
