Interview Designer: Utilizing Competency-Based Interview Questions session offered Feb. 14

Interview Designer, WTD196, will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 14, in the College of Business Building, Room 1092.

This session focuses on building an aptitude among interviewers at the university and equipping leaders on best practices during the interview process. Participants will learn how to select relevant competency-based interview questions and how to drill down on an experience in order to consistently assess an applicant.

Participants will learn how to do the following through the session:

  • Identify and apply the best practices associated with preparing for, conducting and evaluating structured interviews.
  • Define the right competencies for screening, selection, and development according to position level.
  • Practice structured interview question guides.
