Advisee Summary Tab

The advisee summary tab provides a variety of general advisee information. Click the title of each subsection below to access definitions.

Residency

In-State - displays Y if an advisee is an in-state student, N if they are not
Home County - displays the advisee's home county
Housing - displays Y if and advisee resides in University housing, N if they do not
International - displays Y if the advisee is an international student, N if they are not

Due Now - amount due in the current billing cycle for the advisee
Future Due - amount due in the future for the advisee
More Information - link to another screen in the same window showing additional financial information. When finished viewing select Return to return to the Summary screen.

Shopping Cart - displays the advisee's current shopping cart contents in a new window or tab.
Add a Service Indicator - opens the Manage Service Indicators screen in a new window or tab so advisors can add additional service indicators if allowed. If a service indicator has been added or removed, refresh the Summary screen to view the changes.

The Semester Schedule displays the advisee's current class schedule. Above the grid are the total hours the advisee is taking this semester.

Deadlines icon - the first column icon links to class deadline information
Class - displays the name of the class links to Class Details, Meeting Information, Enrollment Information and Class Availability
Schedule - displays the date, time and location a class meets
Hours - the number of hours for which the class is being taken

Type - a link indicating the type of service indicator as well as providing access to Reason and Contact and Instructions for that indicator. This page opens the same window. Click Return to go back to the Summary page.
Impact - indicates the impact the service indicator has on the advisee.
Release - a link appears in this column if an advisor has access to lift the service indicator. Selecting Release removes the indicator and updates the view. A prompt for confirmation is presented before the indicator is removed.

College - the college from which credits were transferred as well as a link information about the classes and credits. The information is displayed in the same window. Click OK or Cancel to return to the Summary page.
Hours transferred - number of hours transferred.
GPA - grade point average for transferred classes and credits.
Dates Attended - dates the advisee attended the college.
Date Received - date K-State received the transfer credit information.

Advisee's history of Advisors

Name - displays the name of the advisor.
Email Address - displays the email address of the advisor that is a link that opens in the same window to email the advisor from KSIS. Click Return to Previous Screen to return to the Summary screen.
College - displays the college to which the advisor is assigned.
Start Date - indicates the date the advisor was assigned to the advisee.
End Date - indicates when the advisor was removed from the advisee.
Academic Plan - displays the plan in which the advisor assisted the advisee.
Academic Program Status - indicates the advisee's status in the program.
