Services to Sponsors

All international sponsored students are required to sign the Billing and Information Release form. This allows us to communicate with your sponsor.

The International Sponsored Student Fee is $275 per semester, and invoiced with tuition and fees

The Sponsored Students Office provides the following liaison services to sponsors:

A designated office for Sponsored Students

Prompt responses and excellent communication with sponsors and their students

Program and degree information and cost estimates

Completion of host applications

Hosting of sponsors during campus visits and scheduling of meetings with departments and students

Assistance with admission requirements and processes and sponsored student housing arrangements

Specialized pre-arrival and in-person orientation information

Communication with students regarding scholarship requirements, academic progress, financial accounts, verifications, scholarship deadlines, and rules

Verification letters

Automatic sending of updated financial support documents to the Cashier’s Office

Assistance to sponsors and students with third party billing, charges and invoices

Guidance for students regarding academics, student financial account, campus and community resources

Help to students in identifying opportunities for community service, cultural immersion, internships and research

Sending of transcripts as requested by sponsors

Health insurance waivers for qualified students

Monitoring of academic progress and non-traditional (online, hybrid, weekend) courses

Notification to students of scholarship deadlines, rules, and account balances

Assistance to students in resolving academic, financial, and cultural adjustment issues

Advocacy for sponsors and scholarship regulations
