The Basic Language Training Program is a series of non-credit language courses that are offered during both the fall and spring semesters. Classes are taught by students who are native speakers. The student instructors teach the basics of their language while exploring the culture and history of their home country. The classes take place over the course of eight weeks and meet two times a week. Each session is an hour long and there are a total of 16 classes. Class registration is open to all who wish to learn a new language: KSU students, staff, faculty, or community members - no K-State affiliation required for enrollment. All language levels are welcome!
The languages offered each semester vary and there is an enrollment fee of $35 per person for each eight-week course. Feel free to register for more than one course! At least five students must register for the class. If there are less than five students registered, the class will be canceled. Those who register for a class that must be canceled due to low participation will receive a refund.
